PAUL SMITHS, NY – Paul Smith’s College today announced it has named Corinne Fitzpatrick as its new controller. In her role, Fitzpatrick will oversee Paul Smith’s College’s financial operations, including budgeting, reporting, compliance and audits, ensuring its resources are managed with transparency and accountability.

With more than 20 years of experience in accounting, auditing and financial management, Fitzpatrick brings extensive expertise to her role. She previously held finance leadership roles with The Hoffman Eells Group, the County of Franklin Solid Waste Management Authority and Citizen Advocates, Inc., where she established compliance programs, managed budgets and oversaw internal audits.

“I am honored to join Paul Smith’s College and contribute to its mission,” said Fitzpatrick. “This community and region mean a great deal to me, and I look forward to ensuring the college’s financial strength as it continues to provide exceptional opportunities for students in the classroom and beyond.”

Fitzpatrick holds a Master of Science degree in Accounting from The College of Saint Rose. She has also been deeply involved in her community, serving as assistant treasurer at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, secretary of the Franklin Academy PTO and a longtime volunteer with local civic organizations.

“Corinne’s deep accounting expertise and proven leadership make her the right choice to strengthen Paul Smith’s College’s financial foundation,” said Dan Kelting, president of Paul Smith’s College. “Her commitment to both excellence and community service reflects our values, and we’re thrilled to welcome her to our finance team.”
