Bachelor of Science / 120 Credits
You’ll get hands-on experience as you learn about the ecology of our region through courses that train you to identify plants and animals, navigate in the forest, and appreciate and interpret the complex, unique ecosystems of the Adirondacks.
Through field work and interactions with professionals – from forest rangers to climate-change specialists – you’ll explore the many aspects of managing and conserving our natural resources and the different roles available to you. You’ll also have opportunities to travel beyond the Adirondacks and immerse yourself in the ecology and cultures of other regions.
