A Spectacular Overnight Orientation for New Smitties

Smitties are here on purpose. Foraging, fishing or exploring. Trailblazing, recreating or creating. They thrive by being. By doing.

In the kitchen. In the lab. In the great outdoors. And so will you!

For starters, admitted students who secure their spot in the upcoming class by depositing get to attend our unlike-anywhere-else orientation for new Smitties. We want to see you there!

Consider it the big kickoff to an extraordinary journey in which you’ll explore your interests while living your best life here at the College of the Adirondacks. It’s an event you won’t want to miss.

What should I bring with me?

You’ll be moving into your dorm for the semester, so be sure to bring everything you’ll need for the fall!

If you are accompanying a new student who will be staying in our dorms you can reserve a campsite on our Alumni Campground here, make a note that you are a family of a new student and the fee will be waived!
