Diane is a professor of Business Management, Entrepreneurship, and Sport Management at Paul Smith’s College, where she has taught since 2007. She teaches courses in entrepreneurship, management, accounting, economics, finance, business ethics, and organizational behavior, with a focus on helping students apply business concepts to real-world challenges.

An accomplished educator and mentor, Diane has guided more than ten student teams to the New York State Northern Region Business Plan Competition, earning eight championship titles. She also teaches entrepreneurship in state and federal correctional facilities and helped develop the Battlefish Academy Business Certificate program.

Diane is the author of the first and second editions of Savvy Entrepreneurship and has contributed to specialized editions for Texas high schools and Canadian junior colleges. Before joining Paul Smith’s College, she held positions at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Marist College, and the University of Auckland in New Zealand.
