Marissa started her journey with Paul Smith’s College straight out of high school and has been here ever since. She has obtained her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Paul Smith’s College, focusing heavily on aquatics throughout her studies. She has worked at Paul Smith’s in many ways and can often be found helping out at orientation and throughout welcome week. In her free time, she enjoys paddleboarding, hiking, and crocheting.

Being from the Buffalo area, Marissa is a large supporter of all Buffalo sports teams and will often be seen wearing her Buffalo Bills and Sabres gear! She also has a large interest in Adirondack lake ice and has conducted several studies focusing on how lake ice has been changing throughout the Adirondacks. She even worked with the Adirondack Watershed Institute on campus for a summer, helping to support their research initiatives.
