There are many orchid species native to the Adirondacks and we are studying where and how they grow here. We will review the goals, history and progress made in the orchid survey followed by details of how to perform a survey for the project. After classroom instruction we will walk on the bog and forest trails to identify the many orchids present at the VIC. Bring a hand lens if you have one, but we have extras if you don’t. We hope you will join us in the project!
