Paul Smith’s College Nordic ski coach Matt Dougherty was recently featured in FasterSkier, which explores how he transformed the program from a single-skier roster into a national championship team.
The story goes beyond the results, highlighting Dougherty’s approach to coaching, his emphasis on building trust and developing the whole person, and the way the Adirondacks shape the experience of competing at Paul Smith’s. In March, the Bobcats captured their second USCSA men’s national championship in five seasons, while the women finished second.
