The Communication program prepares students to be change agents and leaders in a variety of professions involving business policy and advocacy.
Bachelor of Science / 120 Credits
Students learn to communicate complex ideas clearly and persuasively through writing, presentations, and digital media while adapting their message to diverse audiences. These skills are designed to be applied across business, government, nonprofit, and public service organizations.
Through research, analysis, and hands-on projects, students develop evidence-based solutions to organizational challenges, strengthen policy and decision-making, and build the consensus needed to move ideas into action. They also build fluency in digital media, including video storytelling, social media strategy, content creation, analytics, and the use of professional tools to reach
audiences.
Throughout the program, students gain experience applying strategic communication in professional settings, engaging audiences, and leading ethical, culturally responsive change. Graduates leave prepared to help organizations solve problems, build trust, and create lasting impact.
