You can enable students to create their own groups in your course by following the steps below:

Allowing students to create their own groups

  • Select Settings in the Course Navigation Menu.
  • In the Course Details menu tab, click More Options at the bottom of the page.
  • Check the Let students organize their own groups checkbox.
  • Click Update Course Details.
